Our Beliefs
We believe that:
- each child is born unique with a natural motivation to learn
- strong self esteem and confidence will enable children to gain full advantage of the educational program and life beyond.
- interaction, sensitivity and making connections are fundamental elements in providing opportunities for children to realise their potential.
- children learn best through hands on, concrete experiences within a play based program.
Our Actions

- is safe and nurturing and fosters a feeling of community and belonging;
- allows time with caring and accepting adults, to follow their own interests;
- is calm, homely, aesthetically pleasing and acts as a balance for the fast paced and sometimes overwhelming happenings of everyday life.
- To help children become flexible learners, thinkers, problem-solvers and risk-takers.
- To enhance and extend children’s abilities, knowledge and ideas and support their cognitive, physical, emotional, social and language development.
- To provide a rich and imaginative educational curriculum.
- To nurture and extend children’s natural abilities in the many languages of the visual and performing arts.
- To encourage tolerance, caring and confidence in forming positive connections with others.
- To help children appreciate and respect the complexity, fragility and beauty of our environment.
- To promote green house-keeping practices including making a genuine effort to reuse and recycle all waste materials and drawing upon natural or renewable resources.
- To promote co-operative teamwork between the Management, committee, parents and staff to work together as partners in a learning community.
