TRY become the new Cluster Manager for East Ivanhoe Preschool.
In October 2009 TRY Youth & Community Services Inc. became the Kindergarten Cluster Manager of East Ivanhoe Preschool.
TRY is an independent not-for-profit organisation that was established in 1883 which conducts and sponsors numerous youth and community related programs throughout Victoria. The organisation maintains an overall management and support structure, designed to promote the unique needs and aspirations of the various communities with which it works.
As a Kindergarten Cluster Manager, TRY’s objectives are to increase long-term sustainability of kindergarten services through continuous, consistent and reliable management and support, as well as sustaining parent involvement. TRY acknowledges the differences at each service and supports staff and families’ full participation in decision-making and policy development.

1958-2008 East Ivanhoe Preschool turns 50!
In 2008 EIPS celebrated the 50th Anniversary of our Preschool, which culminated in a celebration day on Sunday 12th October.
All East Ivanhoe Preschool past and present community members were invited to the 50th Anniversary Party on Sunday 12th October.
It was a great event and fun had by all. Commemorative Booklets are still available to purchase through the kindergarten.
